Severin
Will received his BFA from SUNY Purchase following formal music training at the University of Miami and the Berklee College of Music. Classically trained, Will is adept at a wide range of musical styles and mediums, from classical to rock and film to theatre. He has composed for numerous original stage productions and many of his own theatrical works are published by Samuel French including Miracle on 34th St., A Little Princess and The Killings Tale. He co-composed the scores for the critically acclaimed musical Magna Carta and the award-winning A Tale of Cinderella with Songwriter Hall of Fame inductee George David Weiss ("I Can't Help Falling In Love With You", "What A Wonderful World"). Will has written music for film, including the scores for Dorian Blues and Nate Dogg. He has composed music for commercials and corporate industrials for clients as diverse as New York Life, GE, Bell South and Home Depot. Among his television credits are the 1998 Telly Award winning documentary New York to London and Return - A Theatrical Adventure for PBS and the theme for the nightly televised New York Lottery drawings. Will's record production credits include projects for Warner Music, Atlantic Records and various indie labels. He has composed scores for audio books including the 2000 Audie Award winner Sherlock's Secret Life for Family Classic Audio Books and served as co-producer for the nationally televised Warner Home Video release of A Tale of Cinderella.
